Rev. Owusu Bempah, a prominent religious leader in Ghana, has made a bold declaration stating that he will stop his ministry if the New Patriotic Party (NPP) emerges victorious in the upcoming 2024 elections. This statement has sparked significant attention and debate, raising questions about the intersection of faith and politics in the country. Rev. Bempah’s remarks underscore his deep concerns regarding the potential implications of an NPP victory for Ghana’s future.
The former diehard NPP supporter declared that the outcome of the 2024 elections has already been decided in the spiritual realm. Rev. Bempah asserted that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has won the election, insisting that nothing can alter that reality. He revealed that he has been fasting extensively for the NDC’s victory and believes that God has assured him the win has been sealed.
Rev. Bempah is so confident in his prediction that he proclaimed he would cease being a prophet if the NPP wins the election.
The NDC, led by former President John Mahama, will face off against the NPP, led by Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, in the elections scheduled for December 7, 2024.
