IGP ASSURES KOTOKO MANAGEMENT TO BRING PERPETRATORS TO BOOK

IGP Akuffo Dampare meets Kotoko over fatal fan stabbing at Nsoatreman game.

The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akufo Dampare has held talks with the leadership of Kumasi Asante Kotoko in relation to Sunday’s ill-fated Ghana Premier League match at Nsoatreman F.C

In the company of other top brass officials of the Ghana Police Service, Dampare met with Kontomponiaferihene Nana Apinkra Akwasi Awuah I, chairman of Kotoko’s Interim Management Committee.

Nana Apinkra therefore calling on the Ghana Police Service to do through investigation to bring the perpetrators into book and also expressed worried over some attitudes of some Police officers standing unconcerned when something like that happens.

IGP also assures the public that, the Police will do investigations into the murder of Francis Frimpong, the Kotoko fan who was fatally stabbed during Sunday’s league match between the club and Nsoatreman F.C.
