Former NDC Central Regional Chairman Bernard Allotey Jacobs has issued a strong warning to both known and unknown individuals who are threatening him for supporting Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the presidential candidate for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
During a panel discussion on Wednesday’s edition of Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” show, Allotey Jacobs revealed that he has been receiving threats via social media and phone calls due to his public endorsement of the Vice President.
He remains unfazed by these threats, emphasizing that no one can intimidate him.
“I want to assure everyone that supporting any political leader is my prerogative. It is not for them to dictate whom I should support. Currently, for our country, Ghana, the best person to lead us is Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia,” he stated.
Allotey Jacobs further asserted that Dr. Bawumia is the right leader to propel Ghana forward, adding, “Ghana is entering a new revolutionary era, and we need a leader who truly considers the welfare of the people.
